Snaith is one of most westerly towns of the East Riding of Yorkshire and being close to The Pennine Way is popular with cyclists and walkers alike.

There are 15 walks known as The Heritage Walks ranging from 1.50 miles to 8.75 miles some suitable for disabled persons in wheelchairs. Our accommodation block is in a Mews Type Cottages setting and positioned away from the main Building.

The Pub was built circa 1800 and had one of the first female landladies of the time, on the first floor which had many uses over the years was once the local courthouse, also across the road is the Penny cells a Lock-up for people who had too much to drink etc; which is still standing, (but not used), the Licensee now is Siobhan, the bar manager her mother and the chef her father so it really is a family run business.

As well as traditional home cooked pub food and a Carvery on Sunday, we also have an Indian restaurant on the first floor, with our Indian Chefs preparing some fantastic Indian cuisine.
